When Scanning where to the scans land?

I have finally completed the set up of my new scanner. I have scanned a couple of things and I can not find them. Can someone please help me.

That really depends on what software you use and can be specific to each type of scanner.

Common places are:

Pictures > Scan folder

Documents > Scan folder.

If you can tell me what software you use, I can hopefully be more specific about the information.

By default, scans made with the Windows Scan app are saved in the Pictures\Scans folder in the user profile, unless a different folder was chosen.

To find the scans in File Explorer:

1. Right-click the Start menu and select File Explorer.
2. In File Explorer, browse to Pictures > Scans.
3. If a different save location was selected in the Scan app (under Show more > Save file to), browse to that folder instead.

After each scan completes in the Windows Scan app, the file is automatically saved to the selected folder. The View option opens the scanned file in the Photos app; the Close option just ends the current scan job but does not change where the file is saved.
