BSODs Minidumps. What is the issue?

I've been trying to figure out why my PC keeps crashing into bluescreens or just hard crashes outright. I haven't been able to find the culprit. But I do have plenty of minidumps.

This is the latest mini dump but I will share others as well.

This one was from the 23rd.

If anyone can figure out what the problem is, I would love to be able to fix it. I'm thinking it's my whole motherboard at this point. I really don't know.

Here are the system logs requested in one of the answers.

Hi, thank you for that information. In this case, kindly download and install the latest BIOS update from your manufacturer's website. Moreover, if the issue persists, let us make sure there are no software-related issues. I suggest doing an in-place upgrade, wherein it will upgrade the device to the latest version and repair all issues without deleting any files.

Kindly follow the steps from this link:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/4252110/how-to-run-in-place-upgrade-in-windows-11

Method 2. Install and run AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Application, then update the drivers.

Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

Note: If the issue persists, I suggest contacting a local technician to physically check the processor or do a re-paste of thermal paste to optimize the processor.

Hi, thank you for patiently waiting. Upon checking and analyzing the event logs you have, there are multiple WHEA Logger errors on the PC, which are pointing to the processor itself. This might happen when the processor is overheating, getting low power from the motherboard, or in the power supply.

May I know the make and model of your Processor/CPU? A repair or test might be necessary to check if there is a hardware-related issue on the PC.

Hi, I'm Bernard, a fellow Windows user. I'm happy to help!

as per checking and analyzing the DMP files, it is displaying an error with the HDAudBus.sys, which is a file associated to High Definition Audio Bus driver in Windows operating systems, however, this error can also be a general error when there is an issue with the GPU, Memory or even hardware-related problems, in this case, can you please check the System logs on the PC so that I can further examine what is the root cause of the issue?

To share the System logs, please follow the steps in the link below:

Press the Windows key + X, then select "Event Viewer"

Click the drop-down of "Windows logs"

Right-click System > click Filter Current logs > Check: Critical, Warning, and Error > Hit OK

On the right pane, click "Save Filtered Log File As..."

Save the System logs file to your desktop and share it by following the steps from the link:

Note: You can also use your preferred cloud storage to upload and share the logs.

The minidump files themselves are not included in the provided context, so their specific bug check codes, drivers, or stack traces cannot be analyzed here.

Based on the context, the recommended way to proceed with BSOD/minidump-based troubleshooting on Windows is:

    1. Collect all minidumps
      • Open File Explorer and go to C:\Windows\Minidump.
      • Copy all .dmp files to the Desktop.
      • Zip them into a single .zip file.
      • Upload that zip to a cloud service (for example, OneDrive) and generate a share link.
    2. Share the dump set with a Windows crash analyst
      • Post the share link in a support channel (such as Microsoft Q&A or a support case) where a moderator or engineer can download and debug the dumps.
      • This is the same workflow used in similar BSOD cases, where a moderator explicitly asks for zipped minidumps to analyze the cause of DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (0x9F) and other stop codes.
    3. Consider software/driver factors before replacing hardware
      • In a similar case with frequent BSODs and freezes on Windows 11, the root cause was an OEM utility (ASUS Armory Crate) that was manipulating CPU frequencies and power profiles. After a clean OEM cloud restore and uninstalling that utility, the system became stable and BSODs stopped.
      • Before assuming a failing motherboard, remove or disable OEM tuning/overclocking tools, RGB/control suites, and third‑party driver utilities, then test stability.
    4. If dumps indicate storage or corruption issues
      • Another complex case of repeated corruption and BSODs was ultimately traced to an SSD hardware fault (SRAM/controller error). The resolution there was to replace the SSD.
      • If a crash analyst finds repeated disk/NTFS/storage-related bug checks or persistent component store corruption that survives clean installs, SSD or storage controller hardware should be suspected.

To get a definitive answer about the cause of the BSODs in the provided dumps, follow step 1 and 2 so a Windows crash analyst can run !analyze -v and review the call stacks, drivers, and bug check parameters.
