Hi parsa oduor,
I’d like to confirm whether the Hotmail address was actually deleted, or if the main email/alias was only changed.
Could you please check a few things for me?
- When you say the Hotmail account was “deleted,” did you close the whole Microsoft account, or did you only change/remove the main email address?
- If you try signing in with the old Hotmail address, what exact message do you get?
- Are you still able to access that mailbox from any browser, phone, or mail app?
- Also, could you let me know how long ago the Hotmail account was deleted?
In the meantime, please try these steps:
Try signing in with the old Hotmail address here:
If it turns out that the Hotmail account has already been fully deleted and can no longer be recovered, I’m really sorry. In that situation, since the email was linked to your EA account, the remaining access issue would need to be handled by EA Support, as they are the team who can verify ownership of the EA account and help with account recovery. You can contact EA here: https://help.ea.com/en/ea-account/
Please note that EA is a third-party service and is not managed by Microsoft. Any account access, recovery, or account linking issues related to EA would need to be reviewed by EA Support directly.
I hope these checks help confirm the status of your old Hotmail account. If it has already been permanently deleted, I’m sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope EA Support can help you with the next steps to recover access to your Battlefield 1 account.
