I changed and deleted my main account in Hotmail by mistake and it is linked to the Ea account, so I lost my EA account in Battlefield 1

I’d like to confirm whether the Hotmail address was actually deleted, or if the main email/alias was only changed. 

Could you please check a few things for me? 

• When you say the Hotmail account was “deleted,” did you close the whole Microsoft account, or did you only change/remove the main email address? 
• If you try signing in with the old Hotmail address, what exact message do you get? 
• Are you still able to access that mailbox from any browser, phone, or mail app? 
• Also, could you let me know how long ago the Hotmail account was deleted?

If it turns out that the Hotmail account has already been fully deleted and can no longer be recovered, I’m really sorry. Deleting a Hotmail address that is an alias on a Microsoft account permanently removes that email address and it cannot be used or restored again. This also means services that were linked specifically to that email address as a login (such as an EA account) will not be able to use that deleted address anymore.

When an alias from a Microsoft domain like @hotmail.com is removed:

• The alias is permanently deleted.
• It cannot be associated with any Microsoft account again.
• Past email for that alias cannot be recovered.

If the Microsoft account itself still exists under a different primary alias, sign in with the remaining alias and check whether EA offers any way to change or recover the login email on their side. Any recovery or relinking of the EA/Battlefield account must be handled by EA support, because Microsoft cannot restore the deleted Hotmail alias.

If the entire Microsoft account was closed and more than the grace period has passed, or if it has been inactive for more than two years, the account and address are also permanently deleted and cannot be reopened.
