    Dear @imran saleem bhat,

Good day! Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum!

Based on your description, I understand that while conducting your class in Microsoft Teams, students are reporting that they can’t hear your voice properly and only background noise is coming through. You’re looking for help on how to fix this audio issue during your sessions.

To understand the situation better and provide you with the most suitable support, could you confirm the following information:

    • Are you using a built‑in microphone, an external mic, or a headset during your class?
    • Does the issue happen in every meeting or only sometimes?
    • Have you already tried adjusting the noise suppression settings in Microsoft Teams?
    • Are you conducting the class from a device (laptop/desktop/mobile)?
    • When you test your device’s microphone outside Teams, does the audio sound clear?

Your confirmation would be very helpful in ensuring you receive the most suitable support!

In the meantime, kindly try the following suggestions to check what might have caused the issue:

    • Check and adjust Teams Noise Suppression: This helps remove background sounds such as fans, typing, or chatter
      • Open Microsoft Teams > Go to Settings > Devices
      • Under Noise Suppression and turn it on
      • User's image
    • Run a Teams test call
      • Go to Settings > Devices
      • Click Make a test call
      • Record your voice and hear the playback to confirm clarity
      • User's image
    • Update your Teams app: Make sure you are running the latest version of Teams, as updates often improve audio quality
    • Try using a headset: If possible, try using a wired or Bluetooth headset as it typically provides clearer voice pickup and better noise isolation

I hope this information is helpful. Please follow these steps and let me know if it works for you. If not, we can work together to resolve this.

Please understand that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Kindly let me know when there are updates or if you need further assistance. Any updates you’re able to share would be really helpful. I appreciate your time and look forward to hearing how things are going!

Thank you for your time and patience.
