I can't get full screen during the lab and that makes it unusable. How can I fix that?

The screenshot below shows the full screen that I get during the lab, and with that I can't use XDR.

Full screen in the Applied Skills assessment lab has some built‑in limits, but there are a few ways to maximize the usable area so tools like XDR are easier to work with:

    1. Use the lab’s own Full Screen control
      • In the lab toolbar, select Full Screen.
      • This expands the lab to fill the iframe area in the browser. Because the lab runs inside an iframe, this does not fill the entire physical monitor, only the iframe space.
    2. Open the VM in a separate window
      • In the lab toolbar, select Open Virtual Machine in a new window.
      • The VM opens in its own browser window and the instructions open in another window.
      • In that VM window, maximize the browser and use the browser’s full‑screen mode (for example, F11) so the VM uses as much of the screen as possible.
      • Arrange the VM and instruction windows across one or more monitors as needed.
    3. Adjust resolution so the VM is larger and clearer
      • The VM’s default resolution is 1024 × 768. If the local machine is set to a lower resolution, the VM will appear small.
      • Increase the local screen resolution to 1024 × 768 or higher so the VM has more usable space and UI elements (like XDR panes) are easier to see.
    4. Use the lab display/settings controls
      • In the lab toolbar, open the Power and Display menu to adjust display settings if available.
      • Use the Instruction resizer (drag the divider) to shrink the instruction pane and give more space to the VM.

These steps provide the maximum screen area the platform supports for the VM; the lab cannot exceed the browser/iframe constraints beyond this.
