    Hello,

If you do not remember purchasing or using any Microsoft subscription, please also consider the possibility of unauthorized use of your credit card.

If the charge does not appear under any of your Microsoft accounts, and you cannot identify the subscription, contact your credit card company and request an investigation.

They can check whether the charge is legitimate and stop the card if ecessary.

Recurring billing is turned on for a Microsoft subscription on the account and is continuing to charge automatically.

To stop future charges, turn off recurring billing or cancel the subscription:

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account that is being charged.
    2. Find the subscription that matches the charge and select Manage.
      • If Manage is not visible, the wrong account may be signed in.
    3. On the subscription page, select Turn off recurring billing.
      • If Turn off recurring billing is not shown, the subscription will already end on the Expires on date.
      • If Turn on recurring billing is shown, recurring billing is already off and no further renewals will occur.
    4. Confirm by choosing I don’t want my subscription.

If the charge is not recognized or the subscription cannot be found:

    1. Go to the Manage your payments page from the Microsoft account dashboard and select Investigate for the unrecognized charge to see what it is for.
    2. If the charge is from a subscription bought through a third party (for example, Apple App Store, Google Play, or a retail store), contact that retailer’s support to cancel and stop further billing.

If charges continued after trying to cancel, common reasons are:

    • Cancellation was done less than 2 days before the billing date, so one more payment was processed.
    • A different Microsoft account was used to cancel than the one that owns the subscription.

For unwanted recent renewals, check refund eligibility and request a refund using the Microsoft subscription refund process.
