Hi! Go to the website below and see if there's an option to download Microsoft 365 Copilot separately.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-copilot/download-copilot-app#downloadthemobileapp

Also read these articles and check the Copilot requirements for macOS.

You should also make sure your license includes Copilot.

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/account?lang=en-us > Sign in > Click on Subscriptions > Expand Microsoft 365 > Check your license type and whether Copilot is included.

If your license includes Copilot and you meet the requirements, uninstall all Office and Microsoft 365 on your macOS (Right-click > Move to Trash > Do this with all apps) > Restart your Mac > Install M365.

Copilot will only appear in Microsoft 365 apps when all of the following are true:

    1. The signed-in account has an eligible Copilot license.
    2. The apps are the subscription (Microsoft 365) versions, fully updated.
    3. The correct update channel and privacy settings are enabled.

On a Mac, use these steps for the account that should have Copilot:

    1. Confirm the correct account and license
      • In Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, check the account shown at the top of the window and under File (or app name) → Account.
      • The primary account must have:
        • For home use: Microsoft 365 Personal or Family, or Copilot Pro.
        • For business use: Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, Business Premium, E3, E5, F1, or F3, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
    2. Refresh the license on Mac
      • Open any Microsoft 365 app (for example, Word).
      • On the menu bar, select Word (or the app name) → About Word.
      • Select More Info...Refresh License.
      • Close all Office apps and reopen them.
    3. Make sure the Mac apps are fully updated
      • Ensure the Mac apps are on the latest build. For details, see Update Office for Mac automatically.
    4. Check privacy settings on Mac
      • In Word, select WordPreferencesPrivacy.
      • Turn on Experiences that analyze your content.
      • Scroll down and turn on All connected experiences.
    5. If using a business subscription, verify update channel (for Windows only)
      • If also using Microsoft 365 on Windows and Copilot is missing there, make sure the device is on Current Channel or Monthly Enterprise Channel, not Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel.

If, after signing in with the correct licensed account, refreshing the license, updating the apps, and enabling the required privacy settings, Copilot still does not appear, contact the organization’s IT admin (for work/school accounts) or use the web versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook at Microsoft365.com, where Copilot is available on the Home tab for Copilot subscribers.
