    Hi Andrew Price,

I understand how confusing it can be when Windows keeps showing old account information even after you’ve updated it.

When you say “old info”, what exactly is Windows showing incorrectly at sign‑in? For example:

    • An old email address
    • An old display name
    • Old sign‑in options (PIN/Hello tied to the previous info)

In the meantime, please try the following:

Step 1: Force Windows to refresh the account connection

    1. Sign in to Windows (even if it still shows old info).
    2. Go to Settings > “Accounts” > “Your info”.
    3. Select “Sign in with a local account instead” and complete the steps.
    4. Restart the PC.

Step 2: Reconnect the Microsoft account

    1. Return to Settings > “Accounts” > “Your info”.
    2. Select “Sign in with a Microsoft account instead”.
    3. Sign in using the updated account details only.
