i want to use the same Meeting ID and code for 3 meetings across 3 different days. can you still record each day using the same Meeting ID and code or will the first day's recording disappear if you then start recording on new days?

Yes, each day’s recording can be kept even when using the same Teams meeting link/ID across multiple days.

In Teams, every time recording is started in a meeting, a separate recording file is created and stored (typically in the organizer’s OneDrive for Business or the channel’s SharePoint site, depending on the meeting type). Using the same meeting ID again on later days does not overwrite or delete earlier recordings.

    Each recording:

    • Is processed and saved as its own file in the organizer’s OneDrive/SharePoint.
    • Appears in the meeting chat or channel conversation as a separate recording entry.
    • Will expire only according to its own expiration date set by policy or the organizer, not because a new recording was made on another day.

So the first day’s recording will not disappear just because recording is started again on the second or third day using the same meeting ID.
