I accidentally turned off the Streak protection and turned it back on right away, but now it's showing streak as day 1.

Can you please help me fix this?

Thank you,

    Hi Sumanth,

I am not sure if there is a fix for this since you toggled it. Maybe Bing support can do something at the backend since this is a user-user support forum:

I hope this information helps. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to reach out.

Otherwise, please take a moment to rate the answer. Wishing you good luck!

Streak protection only prevents an existing Microsoft Rewards streak from breaking on days when daily tasks are missed while protection is active. It does not restore or edit streak counts after they have already reset.

When streak protection is turned off and a day is effectively missed (or the system treats it as such), the streak can reset to day 1. Turning streak protection back on immediately does not retroactively recover the previous streak; it only applies to future missed days while it remains enabled.

To avoid this in the future:

    1. Keep Streak protection toggled On in the Rewards dashboard whenever protection days are available.
    2. Verify that streak protection is active by checking the toggle and, if needed, viewing remaining protection days from the Streak Protection info bar on the Rewards dashboard.

If the streak has already reset, there is no documented way in the feature itself to revert it back to the previous value.
