I cant log out of xbox app on pc

Question

everytime i try to log out
get an app to open ms-gamebar link
ive tried alot of stuff, yt videos, ai, similar cases on microsoft but nothing works.
Can u help me please

Try these steps in order on Windows 11 to break the sign‑in loop and fix Xbox app sign‑out issues:

1. Sign out of the Microsoft account on Windows and apps
   • Open Settings > Accounts > Your info.
   • Switch from a Microsoft account to a local account: choose “Sign in with a local account instead” and follow the prompts.
   • Restart the PC.
   • After restart, open the Xbox app and it should now prompt for sign‑in instead of looping. Close it for now.
2. Remove Microsoft account from Windows “Email & accounts”
   • Go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts (or Access work or school depending on build).
   • Select the Microsoft account that the Xbox app is using and choose Remove, then confirm.
   • Restart the PC again.
3. Reset Microsoft Store and Xbox app sign‑in state
   The Xbox app uses Microsoft Store services, so reset the Store cache:
   • Press Windows key + R.
   • Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
   • A blank command window opens, then Microsoft Store will launch automatically.
   • Close the Store.
4. Re‑add the Microsoft account cleanly
   • Open Settings > Accounts > Your info and switch back to sign in with a Microsoft account if desired, using the account that should be used for Xbox.
   • Open the Xbox app and sign in when prompted.
