email to my domain csj.on.ca is being blocked

Some email that is being sent to me is being blocked by Office 365. The senders are getting this response
Please help me to how I can remove this block. It has happened to two (that I know of) completely independent users from different domains (India, Canada).

This means a rule was set up to reject messages from the Quinnox domain, probably as a Do Not Disturb, block, or restriction policy.
Are you the admin user for the qonline.onmicrosoft.com tenant?

2026-04-02T15:46:59.21+00:00 Hi Emily. It seems to be blocking more than the Quinnox domain. No domains should be blocked. csj.on.ca is a domain that I have had for 30+ years. It is hosted as a forward on webnames.ca for one email address. It is not a tenant anywhere to my knowledge. This appears to have been setup in error (not sure how or why), but I don't know how to get it removed. What is the qonline.onmicrosoft.com domain?

2026-04-02T16:09:40.5566667+00:00 email to ******@csj.on.ca is forwarded to ******@yahoo.com . I set this up years ago as all I wanted was a way to have a unique email at csj.on.ca that would forward to my "real" inbox. This screen shows the email forwarding setup otherwise the domain is just "parked" with no other functions, no website, etc.
I have a feeling that this problem came up during a Microsoft 365 account setup using my ******@csj.on.ca email address.

This set up could have been working well in the past, but with cyber security rules continue to tighten, I am afraid you would need to work with your domain service provider to close a few loopholes.
Please make sure SPF, DKIM and DMARC are all set up so that your the traffic between csj.on.ca and yahoo can go through.
That may or may not be enough. What I don't understand is why is Microsoft involved here. You said you set up a Microsoft account - can you unpack a bit more there? The answer might be related to that, but i need to know, what type of account did you set up, personal/business? Did you purchase any Microsoft product with this email address? If so, what is it?

However, if you do have a business subscription, that will explain the onmicrosoft.com tenant part. onmicrosoft.com is basically an address for commercial users, like its counterpart outlook.com address in the consumer side of the product. I wonder if webname.ca uses Microsoft's commercial platform to host emails for their client, and they set up on their end. That is the only thing that makes sense here.
Regardless, I think you need to contact their support. They have admin access to review this, and to add those DNS records as well.
