Thanks for a reply. I have waited since last December when I put in this complaint. I was told by the escalation team first time, I didnt reply soon enough so the file was closed. Then the second attempt, insufficient information. SInce then I have waited till now and nothing. The bogus email is nothing connected to my name anywhere. I have a few hundred dollars in games and MFS2020 flight simulator Marketplace purchases. If they cant help me I cannot trust that account. I will have to move on I would suppose. When I call the online xbox or microsoft account for help, they say wait 24 to 72 hours lol. I just wish I could have a two way communication to settle this issue. I have several photos and a few letters with all my information for them to consider. I want to move up to the MFS2024 flight simulator and on the X instead of my S. I just would like to bring my many payware aircraft with me. I just wonder if Microsoft is backlogged enough that it takes this long to consider my serious account infraction? Thanks for replying. Much appreciated.
Bogus email shows up to receive two step verification code from me!
Hi there,
I have a bogus email showing up whenever I get a Microsoft window pop up for two step verification. Although it shows my email correctly on top, for the code it shows a fake version of my email. For example, my email is [Mod: Personal Info Removed]@yahoo.ca. The bogus Phishing email is [Mod: Personal Info Removed]@a10lovely.com. I have checked my Microsoft account and I have not misspelled my email anywhere. Im lost as to what to do to get rid of it. I believe it first showed up in my Xbox account. I have been told to change to a Microsoft account, which I have done. Problem is, that email is connected to my Xbox account with verious game and [PII: Removed] flight simulator Marketplace purchases. I want to keep it so I dont lose anything. What do I do now? HELP PLEASE. I tried escalation teams but dont seem to recieve any feedback on my ticket I open throught the correct link. Help. SOS.

Hi Rick Jones
What you’re describing does not indicate phishing or loss of your account. This typically relates to how Microsoft displays masked security contact information that may have been associated with your account through earlier services such as Xbox or other legacy Microsoft platforms. Your Microsoft account, Xbox profile, and purchased content remain intact as long as you continue using the same account.

Thank you for your understanding.
