Hello !

Unfortunately, at the moment, you cannot use Google Calendar as your primary calendar in Outlook for the web.

You can add your Gmail account to the desktop version of Outlook (new) to use your Google Calendar, but completely deleting the Outlook calendar is not possible.
If you're using classic Outlook, synchronization is only in one-way : your Google calendar events are displayed in Outlook, but you won't be able to add other ones.Please let me know if you have any other question !

Outlook.com and Outlook on the web cannot make a Google calendar the actual default calendar for the account, and the built‑in “computer only” (primary) calendar cannot be removed. However, a Google calendar can be added and used alongside the default calendar.

To add and use a Google calendar in Outlook on the web:

1. In Outlook on the web, go to Calendar.
2. Select Add calendar.
3. Select Add personal calendars.
4. Choose Google as the personal account type and sign in with Google credentials.
5. Complete any authentication prompts. After the connection is complete, the Google calendar appears in the calendar list and its events can be viewed and managed from Outlook on the web.

Notes:

• The Google calendar will show as an additional calendar; the original Outlook calendar remains the primary one and cannot be deleted.
• Personal calendar events can be included in work or school availability for scheduling, but this does not change which calendar is technically the default.

If the Google calendar should be the one used day‑to‑day, keep it checked/visible and uncheck the Outlook “computer only” calendar so that only the Google calendar is shown when creating and viewing events.
