I try to add my phone number to my account. I get an error that my country code is not usable and to use my e-mail instead with no option to use my email instead.

    Hi,

I understand how frustrating it can be when you’re trying to add your phone number but keep running into that error. I’ll do my best to help you get this sorted out.

-Make sure your account region matches your current country. You can review and update it here: https://account.microsoft.com/profile

If the region does not match your actual location, it may prevent certain country codes from being accepted.

-Enter your number using the proper international format. For example, if you are in the United States, use +1XXXXXXXXXX. Make sure to remove any leading zero and include the correct country code.

-Some countries or carriers may have limited support for phone verification in Microsoft Rewards, which can trigger this error. Try using a different network provider number.

-Try using a different browser or device, clear your cache and cookies, wait a bit and try again in case it is a temporary issue, and also try switching to a different internet connection such as mobile data or a mobile hotspot.

If all else fails, contacting the Rewards support team would be the best option. You can reach out to them using the following link: https://rewards.bing.com/support

The support team for Bing Rewards has the essential tools and resources to investigate and fix this issue. Please note that their response time is usually within 24 hours, but it may take longer depending on the volume of tickets they receive (first come, first served). Thank you.
