Cannot unlink blocked tenant AADSTS5000225

Question

A deleted Azure AD tenant still appears in my organization list. The tenant was removed due to inactivity (AADSTS5000225). Please remove the orphaned directory reference from my Microsoft account.

It is already over the grace period. I do not want to re-activate the tenant. I want it gone.

We would like to inform you that your tenant has been successfully reactivated. You can follow this Delete a Microsoft Entra tenant - Microsoft Entra ID to complete the deletion process.
