    Hi Maureen McBain

I understand how concerning it is when only junk mail is coming through while important emails never reach your inbox. Please try these steps on Outlook.com (web):

    1, Check Inbox rules

    • Go to Settings (gear icon) > Mail > Rules
    • Make sure there are no rules that move or delete incoming emails
    • Remove any rule you don’t recognize

2, Check Blocked / Safe senders

    • Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email
    • Review Blocked senders and domains and remove anything legitimate
    • If specific senders are missing, add them to Safe senders and domains

    3, Check Focused Inbox

    • If Focused Inbox is enabled, emails may be going to Other
    • Go to Settings > Mail > Layout > Focused Inbox and temporarily turn it off to test

    4, Check mailbox storage

    • Go to Settings > Account > Storage
    • If the mailbox is full, new emails may not be delivered

Please feel free to let me know how it goes after trying these steps. Thank you for your time and understanding.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting on the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Could you provide me with some additional details such as when did you last receive an email and check it in your inbox? Could you try sending an email to yourself and see whether it reaches your inbox or not?
