Hyperlinks between Excel and Word no longer exist

I have been using dynamic hyperlinks between Excel and Word to put cell into a word document/report for several years now with no real problems.

Now, randomly, the links, when refreshed, state that the object cannot be found, and then changes the text to "object does not exist". And I know this to not be the case as I have the excel file open on my laptop to copy the text.

I noticed that some links come across as %20 in place of a space, and others have spaces. I have tried both formats and the links continue to break.

Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated as I am very much dependent upon my links for automation purposes.

    @Jack Gill

    Could you please share us how did you create the dynamic hyperlinks?
    What's the version of Office are you using now? Have you updated your Office or Windows system before this issue appeared?

    Currently, please right-click the the text of "object does not exist", check whether threre is the option of "Linked WorkSheet Object" and "Links" button.

    If yes, I suggest you take a screenshot for Links windows as follwoing.

    Besides, please provide the correcr path of the linked file. (If there is any privacy information, you could cover it on image, or use symbol "X“ to replace it when you paste characters here.)

    If your want to refresh your links, I suggest you press "F9" key instead of "Update Link" to have a check.

    Any updates, welcome to post back.
