Question

I got a mini PC with windows 11 pre-install and registered but it's all in Chinese language

so, I might have done something, and now it's showing it's not activated.

Can you please type cmd in the search on the taskbar and hit enter to launch command prompt, then run the following command:

slmgr /dlv

Windows 11 shows as not activated because the original activation is no longer valid or recognized. Common causes and fixes for a pre‑installed system:

1. Check activation method
   • Windows 11 needs either a digital license or a 25‑character product key to activate.
   • Go to Start > Settings > System > Activation and check the activation state and any error code.

2. If Windows came pre‑installed on the mini PC
   • The seller or manufacturer should have provided a genuine, single‑use license.
   • If the seller reused the same key on multiple PCs, activation will fail because it exceeds the allowed device count.
   • In that case, contact the seller or device manufacturer and request the original Windows product key (and any recovery media). If they cannot provide a valid key, a new Windows product key or license must be purchased.
3. Run the Activation Troubleshooter (if available)
   • Go to Settings > System > Activation and select Troubleshoot.
   • This can fix common activation issues automatically or give more specific guidance based on the error code.
4. If a different edition or key was applied
   • If any change was made that installed a different edition of Windows or used another product key, the current edition might not match the original license.
   • Reinstall the original edition that came with the mini PC and use the original product key from the seller or manufacturer.
5. If the key is invalid or blocked
   • If an error like 0xC004C003 appears, the key may be invalid or used on multiple devices. A different, unique Windows key is required.

If the original key or digital license cannot be recovered from the seller or manufacturer, the only supported resolution is to obtain a new, genuine Windows 11 license and activate with that key.
