Your online support did not work. I've been trying unsuccessfully for 30 minutes to get a human. It's a simple question, but I can't get an answer. VERY ANGRY!!!!!! How can a get a representative with a brain?

    Hello John Thomasson,

I see that you're trying with contacting Microsoft support for billing and subscription issue. I truly understand how you feel. Let me assist you further.

Once you’ve tried the steps above, you can also reach out directly to the Microsoft Support team. It may offer live chat and, depending on your subscription/region, an option to request a callback:

    • Go to https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact
    • type in your issue in the search box.
    • Click "Get Help", then scroll to the bottom and select "Contact Support”.
    • When prompted to select Products & Services, select Billing> Subscriptions> (choose issue)
    • Look for and select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser". Once connect, explain your situation clearly.

Please note that the chat support team only works during certain working hours. Therefore, if the last window indicates that you are unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. That way, they can call you and help you.

Please understand that this is a user‑to‑user support forum. Moderators, contributors, and external Microsoft staff cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back‑end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas. Still, I will do my best to assist you with everything I can.

To refund and check for refund eligible you can refer to this website, follow the steps instruction:

I hope this will help with your situation. Please feel free to reach back if you have further update or more questions.

    Best Regards,

For a Microsoft 365/Office home subscription billing question, the fastest ways to reach a human representative are:

    1. Use the Get Help app or browser support
      • Go to the Microsoft support page for home users and select Get help: Get help.
      • Describe the billing problem (for example, “Microsoft 365 home billing question”).
      • When results appear, choose the option to chat with a support agent or request a call. A support agent will then connect via chat or call back.
    2. Use the general Office support entry point
      • Go to the Contact Microsoft Office Support page for home users.
      • Steps:
        1. Try searching via online help if prompted.
        2. Choose the option to Use the Get Help app or your browser to contact support: contact support.
        3. Follow the prompts until the Contact support or Chat with a support agent option appears, then select it.
    3. If the issue is specifically with a Microsoft Store purchase (for example, subscription bought via Microsoft Store)
      • Go to Help with Microsoft Store purchases: Get help.
      • Describe the billing issue.
      • If still unresolved, scroll to the regional phone list and use the Microsoft Store Sales Support phone number for the country/region, or use the Customer service phone numbers link on that page.

If the subscription is for a work or school account and an admin manages it, an admin can:

    1. Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
    2. Select Support > Help & support.
    3. Enter the billing question and then select Contact support to get phone or email support from a live agent.
