Unsolicited Email

I've been receiving unsolicited email for a long time, I've changed my email address at least 3 times and the porn email keep showing up. I have written rules to block Subject and message contacts and nothing has worked. The supposed blocked Subjects are still showing up in my Junk mail when I told the rule to delete them. Same with the message info.

Your algorithms are doing anything or maybe just bad programming.

I, even go into View Message info to find out the exact IP address and email that it was sent from and block them. But, that doesn't work. Because I keep getting email from IP address with the following 103.144.xx.xx or 209.85.xx.xx that are the IP addresses that most of this crap is coming from. I'd like to be able to bulk block this trash. You don't let us to it.

Then there is there is the foreign emails that we can't block, most of my correspondence is in the US, so it's unlikely I would get foreign mail.

And now, I started getting emails through Outlook.groups.com. I never signed up for any of these sites, yet Microsoft must have permitted people to do so via AI. I tried to find out how to block this course of email and there was no way of getting rid of these unsolicited emails. You would think if I wanted to be included I would have volunteered or signed up. But, Microsoft just plain permitted anyone to have access to my email and probably my personal information.

I didn't ask for this crap and now, I understand why so many folks don't trust Microsoft when it comes to their email and preferences.

Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.

I realize this might not be what you want to hear, but if those messages are being delivered to your Junk Email folder, they are already considered blocked. Rules work only on messages delivered to the Inbox, so creating rules for messages delivered to the Junk Email folder won't help. Junk mail is supposed to be delivered to the Junk Email folder. Blocking those senders or trying to use rules for them is pointless. That's just the way the mailbox works. You cannot prevent junk from reaching your mailbox, only control what folder gets it and if it's the Junk Email folder, it's working as designed.
