To transfer audio recordings from an OPPO Reno device to an HP laptop without using the cloud, use Phone Link with Link to Windows, or copy via drag and drop if supported.
- On the OPPO Reno, make sure Link to Windows is installed and updated to the required version (1.0.52.30 or later) and that the phone and HP laptop are on the same Wi‑Fi network.
- On the HP laptop (Windows 10), open the Phone Link app and connect it to the OPPO Reno following the in‑app pairing steps.
- In Phone Link on the laptop, go to Apps and select Open phone screen so the phone’s screen appears in a window on the PC.
- On the phone screen window, open the app or file manager where the audio recordings are stored.
If drag and drop is supported on the OPPO Reno model:
- In the phone screen window, navigate to the folder containing the recordings.
- Using the mouse on the PC, long‑press the audio file until it is selected.
- Long‑press again and drag the file from the phone screen window to a folder on the HP laptop. When the cursor shows Copy, release the mouse to drop and transfer the file.
- The file will be copied to the chosen folder on the laptop.
If the app does not accept drag and drop directly, drag the file to the phone screen instead; it will be copied into the Downloads folder on the Android device, and from there it can be accessed and transferred using supported apps or methods.
Alternatively, use the Share function from the Android device to send files to the PC via Phone Link:
- On the OPPO Reno, open the app or file manager containing the audio recording.
- Select the recording and tap Share.
- In the system Share Drawer, choose Link to Windows – Send to PC.
- Select the connected HP laptop from the device list to start sharing.
- Wait on the page until the status shows Sent.
- On the HP laptop, a Phone Link notification appears; select it to open the file or the folder where it is stored.
- By default, received files are stored under
Downloads\Phone Link on the laptop (this default folder can be changed in Phone Link > Settings).
Note: File drag and drop supports most file types (except folders and cloud‑only files), up to 100 files at a time, with each file up to 512 MB.
