Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. All of these were tried by Microsoft level 2 support, plus I tried them myself with to your guidance.

The good news, the problem has been solved. I have a raspberry pie running on our home network serving as a site blocker, primarily to block ads and protection from unwanted sites. I bypassed the tool and was successfully able to access 365 with no errors. This was true for all apps. While we had used 365 for several years while using the raspberry pie, something must have changed on Microsoft's end. A Microsoft support person did return my call, which I greatly appreciated. I shared the news with the support person and he agreed, their security layers may have changed.

I think the corr‑id loop means ur AAD device‑stamp slipped, not the apps… disconnect the work acct once in Settings→Accounts→Access work or school, reboot, open Word slow to re‑bind clean…if it still loops, admin has to reset the AAD sign‑in state.

Are you seeing this error when signing in to all apps or just one app like Outlook or Word?

Open any Office app, go to File, Account, then select Sign out of all accounts and close all Office apps. Next open Windows Settings, go to Accounts, Access work or school, and disconnect any listed work or school account, then restart your device. After restart, open Settings again, go to Accounts, Email and accounts, remove any Office or work accounts under “Accounts used by other apps.” Then open one Office app, sign in again with your correct subscription account, and let it activate. This clears cached credentials and reconnects your account properly which usually resolves correlation ID sign-in errors.

I see. While waiting for the call back, have you tried to reset the Office activation state using built in tools?

Close all Office apps, then open Command Prompt as admin and run dsregcmd /leave, restart your device, then go to Settings, Accounts, Access work or school and reconnect your account. After that, open an Office app, go to File, Account, and sign in again. If the issue continues, run the Support and Recovery Assistant from inside an Office app by going to File, Account, and selecting “Troubleshoot” if available, then follow the prompts to fix activation.
