Problem with audio in windows 11 unable to mute

My Audio is running at full and if I drag it down it returns to full automaticlly

I have also a permanent sound bar at the bottem of my screen which does nothing see picture

How do I fix this

I am running windows 11 Edition Windows 11 HomeVersion 25H2

Installed on ‎10/‎09/‎2025

OS build 26200.8117

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.297.0

    Hi thanks for the answer but I had to do a full restore with the help of microsoft.

    The sound bar on the bottom of your screen may indicate a problem with the keyboard.

    Open Command Prompt, then paste in this command and press Enter:

    msdt.exe -id KeyboardDiagnostic

    Run that Keyboard Troubleshooter to see if that can solve the problem.

    If that does not resolve this for you

    Open Device Manager

    Expand the Keyboards section

    Right click your keyboard and choose 'Uninstall'

    Then restart your PC
