Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

May I please know the exact error message you receive when you launch Microsoft Store?

(Please upload a screenshot if possible)

Also, type winver in the search bar on the taskbar and click Enter.

Post a screenshot of the resulting dialog box.

Reinstalling the Microsoft Store as a separate app is not supported. If Microsoft Store was removed or is badly corrupted, the only Microsoft‑supported way to get it back is to reset or reinstall Windows, which reinstalls Microsoft Store with the OS.

If Microsoft Store is present but not working correctly after the reset, try these supported repair steps:

    1. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
      1. Press Windows key + R.
      2. Type wsreset.exe and select OK.
      3. A blank Command Prompt opens, closes after about 10 seconds, and Microsoft Store should open automatically.
    2. Make sure Microsoft Store is actually installed and visible
      • In Windows 10, search for Microsoft Store from the taskbar search box.
      • If found, right‑click it and choose Pin to Start or More > Pin to taskbar so it is easier to access.
    3. If Microsoft Store was uninstalled
      • Uninstalling Microsoft Store is not supported.
      • If it was removed by any means, the only supported way to reinstall it is to reset or reinstall Windows again. This is by design and there is no supported workaround to reinstall only the Store app.

If the Store opens but apps still cannot be installed or updated after these steps, use the Store/app troubleshooting guidance (for example, Store troubleshooter, reinstalling apps from My Library, checking region, account, and device compatibility) as described in the referenced articles.
