i have a huawei matebook d15 2021. and my camera driver is gone. the camera is enabled in bios, and the camera app say no cameera attatched . i used a huawei pc manager to check for updates but unfotunatelty they didn't provider a camera driver. i also diagnosed it to a huawei service repair center and the hardware for the camera has no problem with it. before this update happened my hd camera driver i nwindows 10 have been replaced by a ov9734 techfront camera which causes blackscreen before the 25h2 disspeared the driver. making me to use a wired webcam.

the ov9734 techfront camera on 24h2 has the blackscreen issue:

    Hi John Rainier Repalda,

Thank you for providing the detailed information regarding the camera concern on your Huawei MateBook D15 (2021).

If the Cameras / Imaging Devices category does not appear in Device Manager, it may suggest that the webcam is not being detected at the OS driver level even though the hardware itself is present. This can occur following system updates when the originally bound USB Video Class (UVC) driver is no longer associated with the device automatically.

Please follow the checking steps below to manually bind the built‑in camera to the Microsoft inbox driver:

    1, Show Hidden Devices

    • Open Device Manager
    • Select View > Show hidden devices
    • Expand:
      • Universal Serial Bus devices
      • Other devices
    • Look for:
      • Unknown USB Device
      • OV9734 Camera
      • USB Video Device
      • Any greyed‑out Imaging Device

2, Manually Install Driver (If Device is Listed)

    • Right‑click the camera‑related device
    • Select Update driver
    • Choose Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list
    • Uncheck Show compatible hardware
    • Select:
      • Manufacturer: Microsoft
      • Device: USB Video Device
    • Complete installation and restart your PC

3, Add Legacy Hardware (If Camera is Not Listed Anywhere)

    • In Device Manager, click Action > Add legacy hardware
    • Choose Install the hardware that I manually select
    • Select Cameras / Imaging Devices
    • Click Have Disk
    • Enter: C:\Windows\INF\usbvideo.inf
    • Select USB Video Device and finish installation
    • Restart your PC

4, If Camera still does not appear:

    • Go to Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation
    • Temporarily turn Memory Integrity OFF
    • Restart the device and test the camera again
    • Once completed, the camera should reappear under Device Manager > Cameras > USB Video Device

I hope this workaround helps restore camera functionality on your device.

    Open Device Manager

Click Action → Scan for hardware changes

    If still nothing:

Click Action → Add legacy hardware

    Choose:

    Install manually

    Select Imaging devices / Cameras

    Click Have Disk

    Install a working driver manually

Look for Sunplus / Realtek / USB2.0 HD UVC WebCam

    Install generic UVC driver
