PIN and pass keys not working, W11

Question

I cannot sign into my Microsoft account on PC anymore. On my computer, it asks me to scan a qr code that doesn't lead anywhere and I have to sign in with my fingerprint. I can sign in on my phone, but still can't on my pc. It does not even give me the pin option.

Also, my son is using my Microsoft account for Minecraft on his pc and when trying to sign in there it asks for the pin, but despite using the right pin, it says it is wrong. I changed the pin in my account, same problem until it now says that he tried to enter a wrong pin to many times.

I am very unhappy right now because at no fault of my own, I cannot access things anymore and my son is locked out of his Minecraft as well.

I would appreciate a quick response since I also need to be able to access my Microsoft account for work.

Before we proceed, may I have a photo of the issues on your computer and your son's computer to check for you? Please remember to remove all personal information before posting.

Additionally, in your son's computer case. I think that the app is actually asking for the PIN he set for his computer Windows Hello, instead of the account's PIN. You can try to let him sign in with the PIN he used to sign in to his computer.
