My MS Office 365 Family has been blocked by Microsoft, but it still sends invoices. How to cancel the subscription? I do not have access to the console anymore.

Can you still sign in to your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com using the email tied to the subscription?

Billing will not stop on its own even if the account is blocked. You need access to cancel it. Try the official account recovery first so you can sign in, then go to Services and subscriptions and turn off recurring billing or cancel the plan. If you cannot recover the account, use Microsoft Support on their official site and request cancellation after identity verification.

Because the billing account is blocked, self-service options are limited and cancellation must be handled through support or the original seller.

    Use these steps:

    1. Determine where the subscription was purchased:
      • If it was bought directly from Microsoft (for example via account.microsoft.com or Microsoft Store), Microsoft Support must unblock or terminate the billing account and stop future charges.
      • If it was bought from a third-party retailer (Amazon, Best Buy, mobile carrier, etc.) or via Google Play / Apple App Store, contact that retailer or store to cancel and stop billing.
    2. If purchased directly from Microsoft and the account is blocked:
      • A blocked billing account prevents actions like adding or transferring subscriptions, and if no action is taken, Microsoft can eventually suspend subscriptions, deauthorize the tenant, and terminate the billing account.
      • To resolve this and stop invoices, contact Microsoft Support using the official support channels so they can review and unblock or close the billing account and cancel the subscription.
    3. If there is an overdue balance or expired payment method:
      • Outstanding charges can prevent cancellation. Support can help resolve the balance or payment method so the subscription can be cancelled and billing stopped.
    4. If still unable to cancel:
      • Use the guided support flow for “Unable to cancel your Microsoft subscription” and follow the prompts to reach billing support.

If the subscription was purchased in Germany, use the dedicated German cancellation process referenced in the articles.
