My microsoft msn.com account which I've had for many years was recently hacked informing me that they had acquired all of my personal data from my computer and added extensive data to both my msn.com account and my gmail account. Currently, my msn account and other active programs having been hacked by persons unknown now have been able to designate themselves as owner's of these email accounts.

I need assistance, as loging in to use assistance requires the use of my email working to connect now currently does not recognize me as the controlling party of either of these email accounts. I really need a live customer service tech to walk me through restoring my msn.com email account since I'm unable to connect to the typing method really doesn't work.. besides microsoft has the ability access my computer with a live agent to help solve these issues. If interested in assisting, call me at [Moderator Note: Personal Info Removed] Thanks..

    Hi Chris Askren,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Please note that our forum is a public platform, and we will modify your question to hide your personal information in the description. Kindly ensure that you hide any personal or organizational information the next time you post an error or other details to protect personal data.

I’m truly sorry you’re going through this. When a long‑standing MSN/Microsoft account is taken over, it can feel deeply unsettling and personal, especially when the situation spills into other accounts and daily services you rely on. Being locked out of the very steps needed to request help can add a real sense of helplessness and urgency, and it’s completely understandable if you feel overwhelmed, drained, or frustrated while trying to protect your personal information and regain control.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role here is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only. For this reason, we’re not able to take direct action on accounts, override verification, or perform any account changes from the forum side, even in serious cases like this.

Thank you for your understanding and I'm truly sorry for the frustration once again.
