I understand how frustrating it must be to be blocked from playing on PlayStation 5 despite having paid for the game. However, I need to note that this forum is a user-to-user support space, focused on software troubleshooting. It is not a channel to reach Microsoft Support directly.
Moderators, contributors, including external Microsoft staff, also don’t have access to your personal account data to process with your requests here. In addition, since our forum is a public platform, we will modify your question to hide all personal information in the description.
Now, regarding your issue: Unfortunately, even if you contact Microsoft Support or PlayStation Support, they cannot manually unlink a PSN ID unless the original Microsoft account can be verified through sign-in.
This restriction exists to protect against account hijacking and license abuse. Think of it this way, if you can unlink it without verification, anyone else with access to the console could disconnect and reassign accounts, which would be a serious security risk. Your only path forward is to attempt account recovery:
- Try all email addresses as the username, even if the inbox no longer exists.
- If recovery succeeds, you’ll regain access to the PS5 and your game.
If recovery fails, there is no self-service option or support process to unlink the PSN from that abandoned Microsoft account. I know this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, but it is a rule designed to protect all users.
