Could someone please assist me in a step by step procedure, to setup 2 X hotkeys, I would like one key to perform a copy, and the other to perform the paste operation.

What I am trying to do is copying from one file, a piece of typed information, into a separate Word document, going back and forward to each.....I actually have an old Logitech G15 gaming keyboard, however the G keys which I normally use for this operation are no longer working, and I don't want to keep using the "Ctrl + C, and then the Ctrl + V" functions all the time....It's bad enough the time it takes me to type....lol........Thanks in advance

Hi, I'm Rodrigo, and I will help you.
You need to use the Logitech software to set the keyboard shortcuts.
Try this software from the page below to allow you change your keyboard settings:

Windows and Word already have built‑in hotkeys for copy and paste, and Word also allows custom shortcuts if different keys are needed.

To use the standard Windows hotkeys (work in Word and most apps):

    • Copy: press Ctrl + C
    • Paste: press Ctrl + V

To customize keyboard shortcuts in Word (for example, to assign different keys for Copy and Paste):

    1. In Word, go to File > Options > Customize Ribbon.
    2. At the bottom, select Customize (this opens the Customize Keyboard dialog).
    3. In Categories, select Home Tab or All Commands (where the commands are listed).
    4. In Commands, find and select EditCopy (for copy) or EditPaste (for paste).
    5. In Press new shortcut key, press the key combination that should perform the command (for example, a function key or another unused combination). Begin shortcuts with Ctrl or a function key.
    6. Check Current keys / Currently assigned to to ensure the new combination is not already in use. If it is, choose a different combination.
    7. In Save changes in, choose where to save the shortcut (current document or template), then select Assign.
    8. Repeat for the other command (copy or paste) if needed.

After this, the chosen key combinations will perform copy and paste in Word.
