My Hotmail account was hacked, and shut down for 30 days. I updated my contact and changed my password. My 30 days are up, and I received a notification of that, but I am still unable to receive emails.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Are you able to send emails?

If you can successfully sign in with your Microsoft account after updating your security information, but you still are not receiving any new incoming emails to your email address, send a test email from another one of your accounts to the affected email address. Check whether you receive any bounce-back error messages. If you receive an error, please share the complete error message here.

If the email is sent successfully, then please check your email forwarding rules and blocked senders list, and verify whether the messages have been routed to another folder, such as Junk or Spam.

    1

Open an incognito tab and sign in with your Microsoft account here-

    Email forwarding rules: https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/forwarding

(Click Do not forward if your emails are being forwarded to another address)

    2

To check the Blocked Sender's lists-

Go to Settings > Mail > Junk Email > Blocked Senders' lists.

    3

Additionally, check that you have enough mailbox storage space available to send and receive emails.

Go to Settings > Accounts > Storage.
