How to Fix svchost.exe (netsvcs -p) using Majority of my computers Committed Memory

I am using a windows 10 laptop and I'm having a problem with my computers committed memory being almost completely taken up, being at a constant 63-63.3 GB / 63.9 when running nothing, when I opened Resource Monitor, I found that majority of my laptop's committed memory is being used by svchost.exe (netsvcs -p) over 51 GBs. I need a solution as running things on my laptop has become difficult as most programs run out of memory and crash after a few minutes.

    The netsvcs -p and svchost.exe are system processes that are hosting the services on the PC, this issue occurs when there are unnecessary services running in the background. To sort out the issue, kindly follow the steps below:

    Method 1. Do a clean boot:

    A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.
    • On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.
    • Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.
    • Close Task Manager.
    • On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

    Method 2. Run memory diagnostic tool: The memory diagnostic tool is a RAM test to check if there are any RAM issues.

    Press Windows key + R, then type in mdsched.exe hit OK, then restart the device.
