Unable to Verify Identity for Azure Login – Error 399287
Dear Microsoft Support Team,
I am currently experiencing an issue when trying to access my Azure account. While I am able to successfully sign in to my Microsoft account, I am required to complete an identity verification step when accessing Azure.
However, during the verification process (phone number method), I receive the following error:
“Sorry, we’re having trouble verifying your account. Please try again.”
This issue is completely blocking my access to Azure services.
Additionally, I want to highlight that this tenant does not have any other administrator accounts available. I am the only admin, which makes this situation critical as I currently have no way to access or manage my resources.
From what I’ve been able to gather, this error may be related to a risk-based flag or phone number reputation issue on Microsoft’s side. I would like to clarify that the phone number associated with this verification has never been involved in any illicit activity or abuse, and should not be flagged.
