Outlook not updating to the current storage usage/quota

Microsoft has acknowledged that there is a problem and is working on a fix.

There is no external guidance about this issue. The latest update is that the fix is rolling out and is expected to be complete in the next 24 hours. The product team has telemetry to see the progression, and they see the queue coming down at a steady rate.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

If you exceed your OneDrive or Outlook storage limit, your account will be put into a frozen state and you will no longer be able to send or receive emails.

However, if you upgrade your Microsoft account storage by purchasing an Office 365 plan, your additional storage should appear in your account within 2–4 hours. Your account should then automatically unfreeze within 24–48 hours, allowing you to send and receive emails normally again.

After a few hours, open an incognito tab on any web browser and go to this link:

and sign in with your Microsoft account that is associated with an Office subscription.

See if the storage is being reflected.
