ESI 50% profile-based discount applicability on DP-100 exam retake

I am enrolled in the Enterprise Skills Initiative (ESI) program and have a 50% discount that is automatically applied to my profile at checkout when scheduling exams through Pearson VUE — no voucher code is involved.

I am planning to schedule the DP-100 (Designing and Implementing a Data Science Solution on Azure) exam and would like written confirmation on the following before proceeding:

  1. If I fail the DP-100 on my first attempt and independently schedule a retake, will the 50% ESI profile-based discount be automatically applied again at checkout?
  2. Is the ESI discount limited to one use per exam title (i.e., only once for DP-100), or does it apply to every scheduling attempt?
  3. Is there official documentation covering this scenario that I can reference?

I am not asking about the Exam Replay bundle. I am asking strictly about independently purchasing a retake and whether the automatic ESI discount still applies in that case.

I have reviewed the retake policy at learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/retake-policy but it does not address this specific scenario.

ESI discounts should be applied automatically to each exam attempt

You need to confirm this with ESI Support https://esisupport.microsoft.com/en-US/

PS DP-100 is being retired and replaced by AI-300
