How to find mailing option in Word?

There is not a preference tab in Word to open Mailing option! How to find the mailing link in Word?

If you do not see the Ribbon, change to Print Layout View by clicking on the icon at the bottom right of the screen

Which version of Word do you have? In particular, note that the online version in your browser will have limited functionality.

In current Word for Microsoft 365 on Windows, the mail-related features are on the Mailings tab in the ribbon, not in Preferences/Options.

To get to the mailing features (for example, to do a mail merge to email, labels, or envelopes):

1. Open Word.
2. Open or create a document.
3. On the ribbon at the top, look for the Mailings tab (next to tabs like Home, Insert, Layout, etc.).
4. Select Mailings.
5. From there, use commands such as:
   • Start Mail Merge (for letters, email messages, labels, envelopes, etc.)
   • Select Recipients (to link an Excel sheet, Outlook contacts, etc.)
   • Finish & Merge (to complete the merge to email, print, or new documents).

If the Mailings tab is not visible, it may have been customized off the ribbon. In that case, use Word’s ribbon customization (File → Options → Customize Ribbon) to re‑enable the Mailings tab.
