Searching for older calendar items in Classic Outlook may feel confusing, especially when results seem limited to around one year.
This can sometimes happen due to a time‑range filter applied during calendar search (when checked via Outlook on the web), or because older items are not yet included in the local search index on the device.
Here are a few quick checks to try, in order:
1. Confirm older events are still searchable on the server (Outlook on the web)
2. In Classic Outlook: load more calendar search results
3. Check Outlook indexing status in Classic Outlook (Windows Search)
4. If this happens with a shared calendar/shared mailbox calendar
