Good day,

I've paid (online) the renewal of my Office 365 Personal subscription.

I did all I needed to do as far as the bank is concerned (going through all the security checks... and in the end I've got the confirmation from the bank that all the security checks had been successfuly completed. Yet, I've not yet got a confirmation form Microsoft stating that the RENEWAL had been done.

Could you please let me know why is this so?

-You've not received the payment?

-You have received the payment but it is being processed?

I look forward to hearing from you.

P.S. - I am being charged in British Pound Sterling (even if I'd rather pay in euros) -I can't manage to change it to euros. I can I do it?

P.P.S - I have changed the billing address to an address in Portugal, but you (Microsoft) do not allow me to change it to any other country other than the UK. I am able to change the address, but not the country of the billing address. (considering that many people using Microsoft Office are mobile, and move from one country to another, it is quite odd that Microsoft does not allow people to change the billing address of their own subscription (more over if it is a subscription one has been subscribing for quite some years).

    Hello Jose C. Nunes

If the bank confirmed that the payment security checks were completed successfully. Even though you didn't receive confirmation form for the renewal, I suggest go to account dashboard the verify whether the renewal has been applied on the Microsoft account that was used for the purchase.

    Please try these quick checks:

    1. Sign in to the same Microsoft account that was used to renew the subscription and open Services & subscriptions
    2. Check whether the renewal date or expiry date has updated.
    3. You can also review your order history / receipts in the Microsoft account dashboard to confirm whether the charge appears there.

Regarding the billing currency and billing country, the subscription country/region determines the billing currency, and that the country/region for an existing subscription may not be directly changeable. This is why you may be able to update the address details but not switch the subscription country from the UK to Portugal within the same subscription.

Feel free reply back to this post if you need further assistance, I'll be happy to help.
