    Hello wanada tatum-chappell,

I see that you need help with Microsoft 365 Installation. I truly understand how you feel. Let me assist you go through this situation.

How to install Microsoft 365 apps on Android (after purchase)

Step 1 – Install the Microsoft 365 app (this is required)

On Android, Microsoft 365 does not install automatically after you pay.

    1. Open the Google Play Store
    2. Search for Microsoft 365 (Office) (The app combines Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    3. Select Install
    4. Open the app after installation

If you want separate apps instead: Install Word, Excel, and PowerPoint individually from the Play Store. For more information, please check here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/install-and-set-up-the-microsoft-365-copilot-app-on-an-android-cafe9d6f-8b0c-4b03-b20a-12438a82a22d

Step 2 – Sign in with the exact account you used to buy Microsoft 365

    This step is critical.

    1. Open the Microsoft 365 app
    2. Select Sign in
    3. Sign in with the same email address you used when you purchased the subscription on your phone
    4. Do not create a new account
    5. Do not sign in with a different email

Once signed in, the apps unlock automatically if the subscription is detected

Step 3 – Check that your subscription is active

    Inside the app:

    1. Select your profile icon
    2. Open Settings
    3. Look for Microsoft 365 Subscription
    4. It should show Microsoft 365 Personal or Family

If it says Free, the wrong account is signed in.

If the apps are installed but still locked, please try this:

    1. Uninstall Microsoft 365 / Word / Excel / PowerPoint
    2. Restart your phone
    3. Reinstall the apps from Google Play
    4. Open Microsoft 365
    5. Sign in with the purchase account

I hope this will help with your situation. Please feel free to reach back if you have further update or more questions.

    Best Regards,
