Microsoft 365 Certification Badge Not Issued After Over 1 Month – No Clear Update

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for guidance or escalation regarding a delay in my Microsoft certification credential issuance.

I have successfully passed both Microsoft MS-102 and Microsoft SC-300, which should qualify me for the Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert certification.

My case (#2602260030005089) was first raised on February 27, 2026, and it has now been over a month without the certification badge or credential being issued.

I have been in contact with support from Microsoft, but the responses have been generic updates stating that the “Specialized Team is working on it,” with repeated requests to wait another 4–5 business days. Unfortunately, no concrete details or resolution timeline have been provided.

At this stage, I am seeking clarity on the following:

  • Why has the certification credential not been issued yet?
  • What specific step in the issuance process is causing the delay?
  • What actions have been taken so far to resolve the issue?
  • Is there a confirmed timeline for when the credential will be issued?

Given that certification issuance is typically a standard and time-bound process, this delay seems unusual.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue with delayed certification badges? If so:

  • How was it resolved?
  • Is there a way to escalate this to the certification/accreditation team directly?
  • Are there any alternative contacts or steps I should take?

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated, as this delay is starting to impact me.

Thanks in advance. Hi everyone,

This is a community forum, not support. You can only follow up with Credentials Support,

    • How was it resolved? - It was eventually
    • Is there a way to escalate this to the certification/accreditation team directly? You already have escalated it to the Credentials Support Team
    • Are there any alternative contacts or steps I should take? No
