Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Note - This is a peer-to-peer community forum where users, IT professionals, and Microsoft MVPs share knowledge and help answer questions. It is not a live chat support service, so responses are not in real time and may take some time depending on availability.

I understand that you’re experiencing issues with the local account setup on your Windows 11 device.

Could you please describe in detail the exact issue you’re facing with the local account setup? Also, have you tried switching your account from a local account to a Microsoft account?

I’ll be glad to assist you with this.

To get real-time help from a Microsoft support agent about the local account issue in Windows 11, use one of these options:

    1. Use the Get Help app in Windows 11
      1. Open Start and type Get Help, then open the app.
      2. In the text box, briefly describe the problem (for example: “Local account issue after switching from Microsoft account”).
      3. Follow the prompts. If the suggested articles and troubleshooters do not fix the issue, scroll down and select Contact Support.
      4. Choose the affected product (Windows) and confirm.
      5. Select a contact method:
        • Chat with a support agent in your web browser (live chat), or
        • Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you (where available).
    2. Use the web to contact Microsoft Support
      1. Go to Contact Microsoft Support using a browser.
      2. Type a short description like “Windows 11 local account problem” and select Get Help.
      3. Skip self-help steps if needed and choose Contact Support.
      4. Select the appropriate product/service and category (for example, Windows / account & sign-in).
      5. Choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser or the callback option if offered.

If the local account problem prevents signing in at all, use another device or account to reach support, and mention that the device cannot be accessed due to the local account configuration.
