Certification visibility in a work (Microsoft 365/Entra) account and on the Microsoft Learn profile are controlled by different systems.

    Key points and checks:

    1. Verify the certification is correctly earned on Learn
      • Sign in to Microsoft Learn with the account where the AZ‑900 exam was registered.
      • Go to Profile → Credentials → Certifications and confirm the AZ‑900 certification appears there.
      • If it is missing or incomplete, follow the guidance in the missing certifications article and, if needed, contact Microsoft Credentials Support.
    2. Confirm the correct accounts are used
      • Ensure the account used to register and take the AZ‑900 exam is correctly associated with the Learn profile that now also has the work account added.
      • If there are multiple Learn profiles under different login accounts, sign in with each to confirm where the certification is stored. If needed and allowed, merge profiles so that all credentials appear in a single Learn profile.
    3. Understand work account profile badges
      • Awards and certification badges shown on a Microsoft 365 work profile card are read-only and come from the issuing platform (badge source), not from Microsoft 365 itself.
      • If the organization has not enabled a badge source, or if there are no visible badges at the source for the work email, nothing will appear on the work profile card even if the certification exists in Microsoft Learn.
      • To show a badge on the work profile card, the badge source must have a badge issued to the same email as the Entra (work) account and set as visible. Changes at the source can take up to 24 hours to sync.
    4. If something still looks wrong
      • First verify the badge and email mapping at the issuing platform (for example, the platform that issues the digital badge for the certification).
      • Ensure the “issued to” email on the badge matches the work/Entra email.
      • If the badge is still missing or incorrect on the work profile card after the next sync window, contact the tenant administrator to confirm that a badge source is configured and to help troubleshoot.

If the certification is missing from the Learn profile itself (not just the work profile card), use the Microsoft Credentials Support channel described in the missing certifications article to open a support request.
