why doesn't my certification show on my transcript

I passed a Microsoft certification exam two weeks ago and it does not show on my transcript.

Use these checks and steps to resolve a missing certification on the transcript:

1. Confirm the certification requirements
   • Passing an exam does not always mean the related certification is earned. Some certifications require multiple exams or prerequisite certifications.
   • Check the specific certification or exam details in the catalog to verify all requirements are met: certification or exam details pages.
2. Verify the correct Microsoft Learn profile
   • Make sure the exam was taken under the same account used to sign in to Microsoft Learn.
   • If there might be multiple accounts (personal, work, school), sign out and try each one on the Learn site.
   • The congratulations email for a passed exam is sent to the Contact Email listed in the Learn profile. If the certification is not visible when following that email’s link, it may have been earned under a different profile.
3. Check the transcript location
   • Go to the Learn profile and open Transcript to see all active certifications, passed exams, and other credentials: Learn profile.
   • The transcript is also accessible via the profile avatar → Profile → Transcript.
4. Consider timing and special cases
   • For most exams, results appear in the Learn profile within 24 hours. Since two weeks have passed, normal propagation delay is unlikely to be the cause.
   • If the exam was taken through Certiport, those certifications currently do not appear in the Learn profile and must be managed and shared from the Certiport account instead.
5. Check for legacy or retired certifications
   • Some older certifications and exams have aged out of the program and no longer appear in Learn profiles. Retired certifications that are still considered relevant remain on the transcript; older ones may move to an inactive state or disappear from the profile.
6. Contact Microsoft Credentials Support
   • If the exam is confirmed as passed, the correct account is being used, and the certification still does not appear, open a support request with Microsoft Credentials Support so the Learn/Cert team can investigate and correct the record: Microsoft Credentials Support.
