1, Sign in through the web first
- Go to https://outlook.live.com
- Sign in with the same email address
- Complete all prompts (security verification, consent, password confirmation, etc.)
If you can access your mailbox in the browser, continue to Step 2:
2, Remove and re‑add the account in Classic Outlook
- Open Outlook
- Go to “File” > “Account Settings” > “Account Settings…”
- Remove the affected account
- Restart Outlook
- Add the account again and sign in when prompted
