Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

First, try signing in here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

    • Check if your Microsoft 365 shows there.
    • If not, you may be using a different email.
    • Try other emails you might have used (personal, work, school). Sign in one by one and check the same page.
    • Also check your email inboxes for a receipt from Microsoft. It usually shows which account has the subscription.

Also, to help narrow down the issue:

    1. Do you remember where you bought the subscription (Microsoft site, store, or bundled with a device)?
    2. Are you currently signed in on your PC with one Microsoft account already?
    3. Do you see Microsoft 365 working on any device right now?

Use the Microsoft account portal to identify which email has the active Microsoft 365 subscription.

    1. In a browser, go to the Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services.
    2. Sign in with the email addresses that might be associated with the subscription (for example, any Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, Live.com, or third‑party emails such as Gmail that were used with Microsoft services).
    3. After signing in, check the list under Services & subscriptions:
      • Look for an active Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family subscription.
      • Confirm that the expiry/renewal date is correct.
    4. Repeat step 2–3 with any other possible email addresses until the subscription appears.

Once the correct account is found, that email address is the one the Microsoft 365 subscription is registered to. Use that same Microsoft account when installing or activating Microsoft 365 on the new device.

    Note:

    • A Microsoft 365 subscription is always tied to a single Microsoft account; only that account can install/activate the desktop apps and manage the subscription.
    • Microsoft 365 Basic does not include the right to install desktop Office apps; only Microsoft 365 Personal or Family (or Family shared with another person) can be installed on a Mac.
