Love Auto Suggestion, do not like the TAB flashing every time I type

Hello,

In the previous version of Outlook for Mac, auto suggested text would appear in front of the cursor in grey. To accept, one hit TAB. Now, a large TAB box shows up with each suggestion. As someone who types quickly, the TAB flashes over and over in front of the text which is very distracting. How do I turn off the TAB reminder and just see the text?

    Hi @JBrown,

    According to your concern, unfortunately in the current UI of New Outlook for Mac, there is no setting that hides only the TAB reminder while keeping the grey inline suggestion text. In the current Mac version (MacOS 16.107.4) in my testing environment, the AutoCorrect option is no longer available in Outlook Settings and the only way to configure text suggestions is going to Edit > Spelling Grammar > Show Text Predictions without any separate setting for the Tab badge.

    I understand this may not be the answer you were hoping for. As a forum moderator, I don’t have the ability to modify built‑in Outlook behaviors, I can only help confirm how the product currently works and make sure you have clear information.

    Because I work independently of the product team, I don't have visibility into internal design decisions or the ability to adjust how the feature behaves. But if this is affecting your workflow, or if you think this is an area that should be improved, I sincerely encourage you to submit suggestions directly to the team through the official Feedback Portal. The product team doesn't actively monitor issues on this forum, so submitting feedback through official channels ensures that your input is truly communicated to them.
