Hi, I noticed two identical Microsoft Store charges of $45.49 on 02/19 on our company card.

I am unable to identify what purchase or subscription these charges are related to.

Could you please help verify what these charges are and whether one of them is a duplicate?

Use the Microsoft account and billing tools to identify and investigate the two charges, then contact support if needed.

    1. Check order history and invoices
      1. Go to the order history page at account.microsoft.com/billing.
      2. Sign in with the Microsoft account(s) associated with the company card.
      3. Select Payment & billing > Order history, then under Refine, set the date range to include 02/19.
      4. Look for charges of $45.49 with status Completed or Redeemed and open Order details for each to see what product or subscription they correspond to and to print invoices if needed.
    2. Investigate unrecognized charges
      1. Go to the Manage your payments page of the Microsoft account dashboard and use the Investigate option for the card that shows the $45.49 charges, as described in How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft.
      2. Common causes include:
        • A Microsoft subscription with recurring billing enabled.
        • Purchases made by someone else in the organization using the same card.
        • A previously declined charge that was processed later.
        • Split or pre-order charges.
        • In-app purchases.
    3. Determine if one charge is a duplicate
      • If both $45.49 entries in order history have the same order number or clearly represent the same subscription period or product, treat one as a potential duplicate.
      • If they are from different accounts or different products, they are likely separate valid charges.
    4. If one charge appears to be a duplicate or cannot be identified
      • Use the Microsoft Store & billing help entry point to reach support and provide:
        • The last 4 digits of the company card.
        • The exact amounts ($45.49) and date (02/19).
      • Ask support to confirm what each charge is for and request reversal of any confirmed duplicate.

If the charges cannot be found under any company Microsoft account, follow the guidance in How to investigate a billing charge from Microsoft and then work with the card issuer to dispute the transaction as potentially unauthorized.
