How can I get Organization PCN for Office 2016 admin console. I try to register admin user but microsoft Volume License Service ask it for registration. I try to contact microsoft service by email but no response form them

I understand that you are having trouble locating your Public Customer Number (PCN) to register your Office 2016 volume licenses and have not received a response from email support. 

Please note that Microsoft has retired the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC). All management for volume licenses (including Office 2016) has moved to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

The PCN is a unique identifier assigned to your organization’s volume licensing agreement. You can find it using these methods:

1. Check Documentation: Search for your original "License Confirmation" or "Agreement Welcome" email from Microsoft. The PCN is typically listed in the header or the "Organization Details" section.
2. Contact your Partner/Reseller: If you purchased Office 2016 through a Microsoft Partner or reseller (CSP/LSP), they have direct access to your account details and can provide your PCN immediately.
3. Microsoft 365 Admin Center (If you have access):
   • Sign in at admin.microsoft.com.
   • Go to Billing > Your products. Select the Volume licensing tab.
   • Click on View contracts; the PCN is often displayed alongside your organization name in the contract details.

Call Volume Licensing Support: This is the most reliable way to authenticate your ownership. You can find the specific toll-free number for your region here: Contact Volume Licensing Support. When you call, have your Authorization Number and License Number (found on your purchase invoice) ready. Support can use these to find your PCN for you.

The Public Customer Number (PCN) is created and stored with the Volume Licensing (VL) agreement and is not something that can be generated locally from Office 2016 or the admin console. It must be obtained via Microsoft’s volume licensing channels.

To get the PCN for the organization:

1. Check existing VL documentation
   • Look in the original Volume Licensing agreement/order documents or emails from the Microsoft seller or partner. The PCN is associated with the VL agreement and is visible to the seller/partner who submitted the agreement.
2. Use the Microsoft 365 admin center (if VL access already exists)
   • Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center with an account that has VL permissions.
   • Go to Billing > Your products > Volume licensing > View contracts.
   • Select the relevant License ID and review the contract details. For Select Plus agreements, the PCN is displayed in the admin center.
3. Contact the Volume Licensing Administrator or VL support
   • If there is a VL Administrator in the organization, request that they provide the PCN or confirm it from the VL agreement.
   • If there is no VL administrator or no one can locate the PCN, contact Microsoft VL support and ask them to look up the VL profile and PCN using the VL agreement (License ID) and business details.
4. Contact Volume Licensing support directly
   • Create an online VL support case using the online support request form and include the VL agreement number and business contact details so support can locate the PCN and help complete registration.
   • Alternatively, call the VL support phone number for the region and provide the VL agreement number and organization details so they can retrieve the PCN.

If there is no existing VL administrator for the agreement, VL support can create or correct the VL profile so that the admin registration can be completed.
