I was trying to use the screen shot app, however following the instructions did not work

While attempting to utilize the screenshot function, I pressed all the appropriate keys pursuant to the instructions and when I pressed F4 everything went haywire. My icons on the screen shrank and when I tried to enlarge them on the software manager the writing became very large and the icons on the screen ramained very small. Can you reset the screen to a normal setting?

To return the screen to a normal, readable size in Windows 11, adjust both text size and overall display scaling.

    1. Reset text size
      1. Press Windows logo key + U to open Accessibility settings.
      2. Select Text size.
      3. Move the Text size slider back toward the left until the sample text looks normal.
      4. Select Apply so Windows scales the text back to the chosen size.
    2. Reset overall scaling (icons, apps, and images)
      1. Press Windows logo key + I to open Settings.
      2. Select Display.
      3. Under Scale & layout, open the Scale drop-down menu.
      4. Choose a standard value (for most screens this is typically 100%, 125%, or what is marked as “Recommended”). This will resize desktop icons, apps, and images together.
      5. If prompted, sign out and sign back in so all apps use the new scaling.

If icons still look too small after that, also check:

    1. Ease of Access / Accessibility display settings
      1. Press Windows logo key + U.
      2. Under Display, confirm:
        • Make text bigger slider is set to a comfortable but not extreme value.
        • Make everything bigger (if shown) is set to a normal option rather than something very small.

These steps restore both text and icons to a consistent, normal size.
